Fall 3 Ceramics for High School Students

Free after-school ceramics for high school students. All skill levels welcome- Come create with us! Arivva After-School Ceramics Program – Fall 3 Join us for Fall 3 of Arivva’s After-School Ceramics Program, a fun and supportive creative space offered at no cost to high school students. Students will learn how to work with clay by hand while exploring the creative possibilities of ceramics. Through hands-on projects, students will practice techniques such as pinch pots, coil building, sculpting, and other hand-building methods while learning how to use basic ceramic tools. New and returning students are welcome—no previous ceramics experience is required! What Students Will Receive: • Clay and basic tools needed to complete their projects • Hands-on instruction from a teaching artist • Opportunities to create ceramic projects • Glazing and firing of projects completed during the program • A welcoming space to be creative, connect with others, and build confidence Program Details: Dates: Friday, November 13th Wednesday, November 18th Friday, November 20th Wednesday, November 25th Time: 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. Location: Arivva Center for Arts & Technology 402 Garfield St S Parkland, WA 98444 Cost: FREE Space is limited and registration is required.
