Open Mic Night: A BIPOC Centered Open Mic

We're back, and this time, for good. 🎤 After almost a year away, Seattle's premier open mic is home. We've partnered with Colman Commons, which means Inside finally has a forever home (at least for the next 10 years lol). We couldn't be more grateful. Huge thanks to Colman Commons and Converge Media for making this happen. Our return is a special one, we've got both hosts back in the house. Double the hosts, double the shenanigans. The community has been asking. We've been healing, regrouping, and doing our best, and now we're back to hold space for you again. Come vibe, connect, and share. Note: this is our all-art-forms night, which used to live on the second Saturday. It's now all art forms on final Friday. 📍 When & Where • Date: Friday, July 31st (every final Friday going forward) • Doors: 7:30 PM (early arrival highly suggested) • Mic opens: Between 8:00 and 8:30 PM, depending on how fast the list fills up • Show runs: Until 12:00 AM • Location: Coleman Commons, 811 1st Ave, Suite 91M, Seattle, WA (located around the left side of the building) • Age: 21+ (ID required) Hosts DEAUNTE DAMPER & DARRYL FOTO 🎟️ Tickets & Entry TICKETS REQUIRED FOR ENTRY. General entry is $10 in advance. At the door it's $10 cash or $15 by card. We strongly recommend buying in advance. The sign-up list fills up within the first 15 to 20 minutes of doors opening, so getting here early matters. Drink tickets are available at the door. There are two lines, one for ticket holders and one for folks paying at the door. Ticket holders move through faster and tend to get in before people paying at the door, so being in line doesn't guarantee you'll get in or get on the list quickly. Buy ahead, show up early, and save yourself the stress. Ticket options: • General Entry, $10: Gets you in the door ($10 advance, or at the door $10 cash / $15 card). Sign up to perform in person, first come, first served. • Guaranteed Seating (VIP), $20: Entry plus a reserved seat held for you, so you're not hunting for a spot when you walk in. • BIPOC Guaranteed Performance, $25: Entry plus a guaranteed 5-minute slot on stage. Skip the sign-up line. (Black, Indigenous & Latinx performers only.) • Allies Guaranteed Performance, $35: Entry plus a guaranteed 5-minute slot on stage. Skip the sign-up line. (For allies who want to lock in a performance slot in this BIPOC-centered space.) ✨ Who's the Mic For? Open to all art forms: poets, singers, musicians, comedians, storytellers, dancers, and more. Whether you sing it, joke it, or let your keys speak for you, we want to hear what you have to say. Inside is your space to explore and express. Black, Indigenous, and Latinx voices are prioritized. Want to Perform? • Sign-ups are in person, first come, first served, and the list fills fast. • Want a guaranteed slot?
