Tacoma Urban League: Legacy and Light Gala

Legacy and Light: an evening honoring Tacoma's trailblazers and lighting the way for the next generation. The Tacoma Urban League’s Legacy and Light Gala is a celebration of the people, vision, and collective work that have shaped our organization and strengthened our community across generations. This signature gathering will honor legacy leaders whose courage, service, and commitment helped build a foundation for opportunity, equity, and empowerment in Tacoma. As we celebrate where we have come from, we will also illuminate where we are going. The evening will create space to recognize today’s changemakers, engage community partners, and share a renewed vision for the Tacoma Urban League’s future. Rooted in our history and grounded in the needs and aspirations of our community, we are preparing to build boldly for the next generation. Legacy and Light is more than a gala. It is a gathering of gratitude, connection, and possibility, honoring our roots while lighting the way forward.
