FREE Community Art Project

Join us for a FREE art project during SHAMcGivinG! All ages and experiences are welcome. Join us for a Community Art Project at Safety Harbor Art & Music Center! This event is FREE as a part of SHAMc's 10th anniversary event. FREE Community Art Project: Mosaic Medallions Saturday, December 5, 2026 from 1-4pm Come any time- This is a drop-in project! Led by Artists Katie and Sedona Bush Take inspiration from the mirror mosaic murals at SHAMc, which were created by hundreds of volunteers. We invite you to create your own SHAMc-inspired mosaic medallions using a variety of materials in an unconventional way. You can turn your mosaic medallion into a necklace, magnet, or a trinket that you can take with you. All ages are welcome, no experience necessary. Registration isn’t required, but it helps us get valuable information for future grants- Thank you! The fun doesn’t stop here! We offer another FREE (and different!) community art project on Sunday, December 6, at the same time. This event is a part of Creative Carnaval, SHAMc's three day 10th Anniversary Party, held on December 4, 5, & 6, 2026. This event is part of the Arts Everywhere celebration supported by a grant from Creative Pinellas and Visit St Pete-Clearwater. Learn more about all of the weekend's events at SHAMc.org The idea for this project came from our friends at Magic Gardens, an art environment (like us!) that’s located in Philadelphia.
