Widely regarded as the first true global superstar DJ, he helped carry underground electronic music from Ibiza and Glastonbury to mainstream audiences worldwide—while simultaneously shaping pop, rock, and film culture as a producer and composer. History & Highlights: * Honored by Queen Elizabeth II as a “Pioneer of the Nation” for contributions to dance music * First DJ to perform at Stonehenge, Area 51, the Great Wall of China, and Everest Base Camp * Special Olympics performance in Abu Dhabi broadcast to 760M+ households globally * Founder of Perfecto (and sub-labels Perfecto Records, Fluoro, Black, and House), influencing nearly every major electronic movement from progressive and trance to EDM, Balearic, and beyond * 2022 album Shine On featured collaborations with CeeLo Green, Luis Fonsi, Aloe Blacc, Azealia Banks, and ZHU * Perfecto Radio continues to reach ~25 million weekly listeners worldwide The Crystal Method Throughout the past two decades, the musical landscape has continually merged, morphed, and fractured in countless directions while intersecting at the most unexpected points. Electronic music underwent a renaissance in the aughts, rising out of the warehouses and blank spaces and overtaking the biggest festival fields in the world. THE CRYSTAL METHOD followed a similar trajectory since their formation in 1993. Now a solo artist, the Grammy Award-nominated, platinum-certified Scott Kirkland sets the stage for the genre-mashing electronic sounds that fuel the current zeitgeist.
