Growing season is here! Join us at Life Farms for a day of tours, art, learning, and celebration. The growing season is here, and we’re celebrating! Join us at Life Farms for a full day of farm tours, hands-on creativity, local makers, educational talks, delicious food, farm-fresh drinks, and time to connect with the people who make our farm community special. Whether you’re a longtime Life Farms supporter or visiting for the first time, there will be something to enjoy. Event Schedule: • Farm Tours 10:00 - 11:00 am or 11:00 am - 12:00 pm — Explore the farm with our growers and learn what we’re growing, how we grow it, and what happens behind the scenes. Ticketed. • Art & Craft Class 11:00 am - 1:00 pm — Create your own piece of folk art with a local artist. This is a drop-in class, so you can arrive anytime between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. and stay as long as you like. Ticketed. • Bees and Their Role on the Farm 1:00 - 2:00 pm — Join our resident beekeeper, Marek, for a talk all about the bees at Life Farms. Learn what goes into caring for our hives, what keeps a colony healthy, how bees work together, and the important role they play in pollinating crops and supporting the farm as a whole. Free; no ticket required. • Food, Farming, and Health 2:00 - 3:00 pm — Farmer Victor will talk about the connection between healthy soil, organically grown food, and our health. Drawing from decades of experience farming in Florida, he’ll share how the way we grow food affects the food we eat and the way we feel. Free; no ticket required. Farm Store, Local Makers, and Food Our farm store will be fully stocked with the products you know and love from Life Farms, including seasonal produce, meats, dairy, breads, and other goods from our trusted partner farmers and makers. Throughout the day, meet our visiting makers and enjoy complimentary samples: • Amanda Lee Elderberry • Nicole from Wild Tide Botanicals, featuring different grass-fed tallow balms. • Kirby from [hot sauce company name], featuring all their hot sauce samples We’ll also have farm-fresh tea and other free samples available throughout the event. Franca’s Pizza Truck will be on-site serving food for purchase, including a special Life Farms menu made with produce from our fields. Come hungry for their incredible sourdough pizza and other creative offerings. Farm tours and the Wooden Spoon Art Class require tickets. The talks, farm store, maker tables, samples, and general celebration are free to attend.
