Go.” Stage Door is KEIGWIN + COMPANY’s (K+C) community-enhanced show inspired by the artist’s life on the other side of the stage door, featuring professional performers and community members alike. Artistic Director Larry Keigwin and Co-Choreographer Nicole Wolcott expand upon their acclaimed duet Places Please (2017) as they explore the universal themes of acceptance, aging, and finding your place in the world through the lens of the audition. Brought to life by Larry, Nicole, K+C dancers, and more than 30 Frenchtown community members, Stage Door will be full of backstage antics and surprising emotional moments that capture the imagination and magic of the theater with performances at both ArtYard and Works & Process at the Guggenheim in NYC. Go.” The performance is the culmination of Keigwin & Company's residency at ArtYard, a partnership between ArtYard and Works & Process.
