Discover how Spain helped America win its independence in this informative and entertaining Lecture/ Demonstration. As Spain’s crucial role in the American Revolution is not commonly known or acknowledged, Alborada Spanish Dance Theatre will celebrate Spain’s contributions and the legacy of Hispanics to U.S. Independence with a cross disciplinary program featuring a PowerPoint presentation by Paul Soltis, a New Jersey State Parks Historian, and live demonstrations of Spain’s 18th Century dance and music traditions by Alborada's dancers and musicians as well as reenactment specialist, Maria Hill.
