SSJ Meetup: Celebrating Our 2026 Caren Kaufman Memorial Fund Grantees

Join Sustainable South Jersey to meet this year's grant recipients, hear their stories & connect with others who love our local environment. Enjoy an evening of connection, inspiration, and celebration as we recognize the recipients of the Caren Kaufman Memorial Fund grantees. Hear from these organizations as they share their work, the projects these grants will support, and the positive change they’re bringing to our communities. Grant recipients being celebrated: 🦅The Field to Flight Foundation: Protecting American Kestrels through nest boxes and volunteer monitoring. 🌱 Rotary Club of Cherry Hill: Building an educational tree-identification trail at Cherry Valley Trails. 🍁 Merchantville Green Team: Creating a native pollinator garden along the Merchantville Mile. 🌳Oaklyn Shade Tree Committee: Planting and dedicating four trees in Veterans Memorial Park. Enjoy light bites, connect with our speakers, and make space for meaningful conversations with people who care about the future of our region. Come celebrate the people turning environmental ideas into local action. Whether you're already involved in sustainability initiatives or simply curious about what's happening in your community, you're welcome to join us. About the Caren Kaufman Memorial Fund Inspired by Caren Kaufman’s legacy and funded by generous community donations, the fund is a core pillar of Sustainable South Jersey’s work. Each year it awards $500-$1,000 grants to local groups, turning community-led environmental ideas into action across South Jersey.
