Tea Tasting: The Teas of Wu Jianming

Taste 10 different teas from Wu Jianming, a visionary tea maker and titled Inheritor of Intangible Cultural Heritage. Join us for a tea tasting focused on the work of a single tea maker: Mr. Wu Jianming. Mr. Wu is officially recognized as a tea maker of an Inheritor of Intangible Cultural Heritage for Tongmu black tea. He is best known around our teahouse as the inventor of the unusual and delicious Drunken Peach black tea, but his tea making is even more adventurous than this tea alone. This is a tasting of ten of Mr. Wu’s teas that are NOT in our catalog. Spanning green, white, black and wulong tea styles, each one is rare or unusual or even a little bit nuts. This is an open tasting of 10 teas in total, offering as many cups as you care to drink in the 90 minutes it runs for. Additional event parking is available next door in the lots of our kind neighbors, Dan's Toy Shop Auto-Repiar and Northminster Presbyterian Church.
