The Art of Masala Chai: A Cozy Tea Gathering

Explore aromatic chai spices, learn to brew traditional masala chai from scratch, enjoy small tastings, and create a warming cup together. Join us for a cozy November gathering centered around the art of masala chai with warm spices, steaming cups, and good company. During this 90-minute guided experience, we’ll explore the spices, traditions, and process behind this warming tea. You’ll smell and taste individual ingredients, learn how they work together, and discover how to prepare masala chai from scratch rather than relying on a pre-made blend. Together, we will: • Explore the history and traditions of masala chai • Smell, taste, and learn about traditional chai spices • Discover how different spices contribute to the flavor and aroma • Learn how to brew masala chai from scratch • Prepare and enjoy a pot of chai together • Pause for reflection, conversation, and gratitude Our November theme is Gathering & Gratitude, making this experience as much about sharing tea together as it is about learning how to make it. No previous tea knowledge is needed. Whether you already love chai or are simply curious about what goes into that warm, fragrant cup, this is a relaxed and welcoming opportunity to learn, taste, and connect. A light snack will be served alongside the tea. Space is intentionally limited to 8 guests to keep the gathering personal, relaxed, and conversational.
