The Moth + Center for Creativity Storyteller Showcase

Join us for an in-person Story Share at TCC’s McKeon Center for Creativity in downtown Tulsa! You never know what someone might reveal when they step up to a microphone. From hilarious misadventures to life-changing moments, the best stories remind us that real life is often stranger—and more wonderful—than fiction. On Saturday, November 14, storytellers from four states will take the stage in downtown Tulsa to share the true, personal stories they've developed through The Moth x Center for Creativity's fall storytelling intensive. The Showcase will feature an unforgettable mix of triumph, tragedy, humor, and hope. And there's an extra bit of excitement: two lucky audience members will win the opportunity to develop and share their own true, personal story at our spring storytelling workshop. As Oklahoma's exclusive Community Program partner of The Moth, the Center for Creativity has hosted more than a dozen two-week storytelling intensives, including The Moth's first-ever Deaf Voices workshop. Together, we've helped our community discover the power of their own stories, with local voices going on to appear at The Moth Mainstage events across the country. Come experience the power of a good story—and maybe discover that the next great story is yours. Guests are encouraged to register on Eventbrite to reserve their spot. The event will also be livestreamed, and registration is not required to watch online. Free parking is available in any TCC parking lot. Registration on Eventbrite is encouraged. Enter through the northeast doors at the corner of Ninth and Boston Ave.
