Meet fellow plant lovers, learn something new, and trade propagations for new green companions. 📍 Where: Mi Tea lounge - Tulsa, OK 💚 Cost: FREE to attend What to expect Bring your plant babies, swap them for something new, meet new people, and enjoy something from the café. Beginners and first-timers are always welcome, and kids are too! No plants? No problem. You don’t need propagations to join us. Bring a donation, or just come hang out and learn. First time at a swap? Here’s how it works 🌿 Most plants go on the community table, and anyone can take up to 6 props. 🌿 Want an even trade for something specific? Keep it next to you and swap directly. 🌿 Bring as many or as few as you like. Lots of us bring big batches of pothos and mixed props, so don’t stress about quantity. What to bring • Clippings in water, damp paper towels, bagged cuttings, small cups or 2oz containers, or whole plants (we’ll help split babies) • A label on each plant with its common name, plus the scientific name if you know it. (Not a requirement) • Plants that need a little revival, supplies, seeds, tools, and jars • Your people! Kids welcome 🧒 Our golden rules • Healthy, pest-free parent plants only. No hitchhikers! • Know your plant’s preferred rooting method (water, soil, or moss). • Use clean tools and fresh potting mix (rooting hormone helps cuttings). • Label everything. • Pack for travel: secure pots, damp paper towels, or containers. Not allowed: diseased or pest-infested plants, invasive species, or noxious plants. Please label anything that’s toxic to pets or children. No-sell policy This is a free community event, so general attendees can’t sell. Official vendors are the only exception. Want to vendor or volunteer? We’d love to have you!
