An interactive monthly program exploring LGBTQ+ identities, experiences, terminology, and ways to create more inclusive communities Understanding begins with conversation. Join Culture for Change Foundation for Handle With Care, a monthly educational and interactive program led by Taylor Signs-McMurtry. This program creates a welcoming space for participants to learn more about the LGBTQ+ community through conversation, activities, and shared learning. Together, we’ll explore LGBTQ+ identities, experiences, terminology, and practical ways each of us can help create more inclusive spaces in our families, workplaces, schools, and communities. Handle With Care is open to LGBTQ+ community members and allies alike. Whether you’re looking to better understand someone you care about, become a more informed ally, connect with others, or simply learn in a respectful environment, you are welcome. Event Details Instructor: Taylor Signs-McMurtry September 24 – December 17, 2026 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Meets monthly Capacity: 20 participants IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ BEFORE REGISTERING This is a continuing monthly program from September through December. REGISTER ONLY ONCE. Your Eventbrite registration reserves your seat for the entire Handle With Care series. You do not need to register separately for each monthly session. Because Eventbrite does not currently offer a convenient way to register once and automatically add each individual program date to your calendar, we’ve made it easy to add the dates yourself: Visit ⁠cultureforchangefoundation.org, scroll down to the Google Calendar, click on Handle With Care, and select the option to add the event to your personal calendar. If you simply want the program dates on your calendar and do not need to reserve a seat through Eventbrite, you can also use the Google Calendar on our website. Please remember that space is limited to 20 participants. If you register, we ask that you make every effort to attend the series so that these limited seats are available to those who plan to participate. Registration & Donation A donation is required to hold your seat. Culture for Change Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We work hard to keep programs like Handle With Care accessible to our community rather than charging traditional class or workshop fees. Your donation is the cost of the workshop and directly helps us continue offering cultural, educational, and community programs like this one.
