Annual NYC Wassail!

Be part of a centuries-old tradition of group singing; dancing, a festive, spiced beverage; a baby tree; and a horse's skull on a stick! Bring your household, young and old, for our Wassail event drives out winter's cold! Sing at our door to be let in; promise toast for our tree (currently young and thin). Dance with neighbors and friends and watch a performance of bell-wearing Morris dancers whose jumps are enormous! Drink Wassail, eat snacks, greet the Mari Lwyd horse, explore centuries-old traditions at this midwinter tour de force. (For the little ones there'll be a place to make art so their grownups can stay long enough to fill up their hearts.) "Why all the rhyming?" The curious ask. Get tickets to find out is your very next task.
