This program brings together music inspired by remembrance, love, and the enduring connection between the living and those who came before us. Among the works featured is the iconic “La Llorona,” a song deeply rooted in Mexican tradition and familiar to many through the acclaimed Disney film Coco. The evening also explores a rich tapestry of music from Mexico, Latin America, and beyond, featuring works by María Grever, Macedonio Alcalá, César Portillo de la Luz, Joaquín Rodrigo, and other celebrated composers.
