Fabric Mosaic Class - The Artist Workshop for DISPLACEMENT

Join us for “Fabric Mosaic: Pieces of Home, Stories of Belonging”, a hands-on creative workshop guided by Harlem-based artist Tomo Mori Through colorful fabrics, textures, and patterns, you’re invited to create your own one-of-a-kind mosaic artwork, bringing pieces together to form something beautiful and unique. Through this workshop, we’ll also reflect on our DISPLACEMENT exhibition and its central question, “When home shifts, what remains?”. Our memories, cultures, heritage, and lived experiences are all pieces of the stories we carry with us. Like a fabric mosaic, these fragments come together to shape our identities, tell personal tales, and remind us of the many ways we find connection and belonging. Bring your imagination, piece together your story, and celebrate the many threads that connect us!
