Montclair Dance Festival Returns September 27, Bringing Four Hours of Free Dance to Downtown Montclair. Montclair Dance Festival at the Wellmont Arts Plaza The Montclair Dance Festival returns Sunday, September 27, transforming the Wellmont Arts Plaza into an outdoor celebration of dance and community. Produced by Freespace Dance, the free four-hour festival brings together more than 35 dance companies, schools and independent artists representing the incredible range of dance across New Jersey. Performances run from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM, with free general admission and $25 VIP seating available.
