Phone-Free Creator Testbed & Park Picnic

A phone-free NYC creator picnic where indie builders, designers, makers, and operators test unfinished work and exchange practical feedback. Phone-Free Creator Testbed & Park Picnic is an in-person event for creators. Bring something unfinished. Touch Grass Club is a three-hour outdoor gathering for independent creators, makers, designers, builders, and operators who want useful feedback away from feeds, notifications, and endless online commentary. For the duration of the facilitated program, participants keep personal phones stored in individual locking pouches while remaining in possession of their own device. Then the work comes out. A prototype. A rough landing page. Packaging sketches. A zine draft. A portfolio direction. A product concept. A service flow. An early demo. A half-formed idea you need another human being to react to. The goal is not polished pitching. It is to put work in front of real people, observe their response, ask better questions, and leave with one practical next step. No previous startup, design, or creator-community experience is required.
