Talitha Dance 10yr Anniversary

Celebrate 10 years of Talitha Dance with a Bronx homecoming featuring Zumba, Sound Healing, a Paint & Sip, and live comedy! Talitha Dance began with affordable after-work fitness classes in Midtown Manhattan and has grown to offer movement and recreational wellness experiences in both Manhattan and Brooklyn. Now we're bringing that same spirit of accessible, inclusive wellness to the Bronx, and celebrating ten years of creating spaces where New Yorkers can feel seen, escape daily stress, connect with others, and restore their energy. ITINERARY Come as you are and enjoy one, or all 4 workshops in the event: Doors open at 1:45pm, with 15 min transitions between each workshop. Zumba with Talitha Dance 2pm - 45 minutes to let your body move and set your spirit free. Wear sneakers and removable layers. Bring an optional rag to wipe sweat. Light refreshments provided including water and fruit. Sound Bath with Bohemian Vibe 3pm - 90 minutes to relax, reset, and realign with self. We'll be laying on the floor, mats are provided, chairs are available for those with mobility restrictions. Bring an optional additional mat for more cushioning on the floor, an optional sheet/blanket to cover with, and optional head support if desired. Paint & Sip with Blue Aura Designs 4:45pm - 2 hours of creative expression, with tea instead of alcohol. There will be hot and iced teas available including our signature iced Cherry Hibiscus herbal blend from Spices and Tease, Sorrel - an iced herbal tea made from flowers in the hibiscus family, nodding to our founder’s Caribbean roots, and hot tea options to warm you, body and soul. Comedy Show 7pm - 1 hour of soul lifting laughter with 4 local comedians. Lineup TBA. Come and spend quality time moving, resting, creating, laughing, and connecting because wellness isn't just a private luxury. It's something we can experience together. If you can't attend but would like to contribute to our celebration and support this programming in the Bronx, consider making a separate sponsorship donation! Every donation whether $5, $10, $20, or $50 will help to cover overhead event costs and keep the ticket prices accessible for the community. If we can raise $500 or more it will help us break even while keeping prices at $35 and below. Make your sponsorship donation on the ticketing page.
