Meeting the Moment: BIPOC Pride – Rooted in Love, Rising in Pride 🏳️🌈 Saturday, October 17, 10am–5pm At Coastal Virginia Unitarian Universalists (CVUU) 809 S Military Hwy, Virginia Beach, VA 23464 Join the CVUU Racial Justice Task Force for Meeting the Moment: BIPOC Pride – Rooted in Love, Rising in Pride, a day of celebration, connection, and community. Featuring: 🎤 Speakers & Artists including Dr. Joy Carrington and Poet Cass IsFree 💡 Panel Discussion: Intersectionality of Faith, Race, and Gender, moderated by the Urban League of Hampton Roads 👠 Performances by Nairobi and her talented 757 drag queen friends 🛍️ Pop-Up Market of Local BIPOC and LGBTQIIA+ owned and affirming vendors 🥘🎶 Food & Music 🎨 Teen & Kid Crafts ❤️ Entry is free — pantry item donations welcome. All ages, races, bodies, creeds, and needs are welcome. All entrants are asked to act with respect and kindness during this event.
