Experience this beloved masterpiece with choir and orchestra. Free and open to all! Join us in observing All Souls' Day with this afternoon service featuring Gabriel Fauré's REQUIEM. Experience this beloved masterpiece with choir, soloists, and orchestra. Rather than being presented as a concert, this sung service is meant to be an opportunity to rememebr loved ones, light a candle, and recommit their souls to the Lord in prayer. The ancient texts of the Requiem (or "Mass for the Dead") call to mind both our own mortality, as well as bring comfort and hope for eternal life. This service is free and open to the public, and there will be a light reception immediately following.
