Join Fashion Group International DC during DC Design Week for an evening bringing together members, friends, and creatives from across the fashion, art, and design community. For this edition of our FGIDC Member Meet-Up, we’re beginning with an exclusive artist studio tour before gathering for drinks, tacos, and creative conversation. Wednesday, October 7, 2026 6:00–7:00 PM — Artist Studio Tour 7:00–8:30 PM — Networking at Republic Cantina 52 O Street Artists Studios + Republic Cantina, Washington, DC 6:00–7:00 PM | Artist Studio Tour at 52 O Street Artists Studios Explore the working studios of four featured artists and hear directly from them about their creative practices, inspirations, and approaches to making. The tour offers an intimate look behind the scenes at the creative process, from painting and contemporary art to textile, macramé and fashion. Featured artists: • Noël St John Harnden • Kelly Towles • Cianne Fragione • Peter Williams / Mr Macramè 7:00–8:30 PM | Industry Networking at Republic Cantina (43 N St NW, Washington, DC 20001) Following the studio tour, we’ll head to Republic Cantina for an informal evening of fashion, art and designer networking, with margaritas, tacos and good conversation. In recognition of Hispanic Heritage Month, we’ll celebrate the creativity and cultural influence of Hispanic and Latin American communities while connecting with fellow members and friends of FGIDC. Attendees are encouraged to support our host venue with a minimum of 2 beverages purchased throughout the evening. Come for the art. Stay for the margaritas. Leave with new connections. FGIDC members and non-members are welcome.
