Manager Skills Workshop - Washington, DC

Or perhaps you know an emerging leader, who is still struggling to understand the new world of leading others. Unfortunately, I've found that the majority of employees who are promoted into a supervisor or management role were never given any type of formal training to do so. As a result, they oftentimes don't feel set up for success, which can lead to your new supervisor/manager feeling frustrated, disillusioned and ineffective overall. The Manager Skills Workshop covers all of the basics on how to effectively supervise others on a team. Topics will be: • You as a Manager • Leadership • Delegation • Handling Problems & Conflict • Successful Meetings • Effective Communication • Motivation & Team Building • Improving Employee Performance This event will be held on October 20th and 21st at Maggiano's Little Italy in Washington DC (Chevy Chase area). Day 1 is a full day and Day 2 is a half day. Education on both days will begin promptly at 8:30AM. On Day 2, the event will end at 12:30PM. (Note: Day 1 includes breakfast and lunch.
