I’ve been lucky to call West Hartford home for the past 30 years, and I’m excited to connect with our wonderful community in a new way by teaching Mah Jongg at our local community River Bend Bookshop. I was introduced to Mah Jongg 20 years ago by my mom when she retired and quickly became a huge fan! So much so, that there were days we played all day and never got out of our PJ’s. Along with Mah Jongg, I love “grandma hobbies” like gardening, baking, card games, needlepointing and many more. I teach in a patient, organized, and simplified way to make learning Mah Jongg feel easy and fun. Whether you’re brand new or just need a refresher, I’d love to help you learn the game and enjoy it as much as I do! There’s just something special about Mah Jongg that brings people together and builds community. You will meet lovely people along the way. Can’t wait to see you at the tables! Linda Houde
