10th Annual Ladies' Ornament Exchange Benefiting Blood Cancer United!

Advance $10 ticket purchase required and a portion will be donated to Blood Cancer United! Don't forget your ornament and be ready to shop! The holidays are almost here and our 10th Annual Ladies Ornament Exchange is coming back to The Trails at Winston on December 8th! After taking a year hiatus from the fundraising, and after careful consideration and feedback from past guests, we are bringing back the raffles and silent auction to our beloved ornament exchange! In the past, we were able to raise over $11,000 for various charities! This year we are going to pay it forward to Light the Night Blood Cancer United!Blood Cancer United, formerly known as the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, is a global leader in blood cancer research, support, and advocacy. Building on more than 75 years of progress, they are working toward a bold goal: enabling people with blood cancer to gain more than one million additional years of life by 2040. Their mission: cure blood cancer and improve the quality of life of all patients and their families. This event is open to the public and tickets must be purchased in advance. Tickets are $10 and will be available for purchase through December 1st. During the event, we will be raising money for Blood Cancer United through gift basket raffles, a silent auction and direct donations can be made online or at the event. A fundraiser link will be coming soon.Cash or check can be accepted for the raffle ticket sales and silent auction items, as well as electronic payments through a QR code at the event. Checks can be made directly to Blood Cancer United and ALL cash collected for the raffles/auction will go straight to the charity. The Trails will be serving dinner from a pre-fixed menu, and their bar staff will be there all evening serving your favorite cocktails! Prices will vary per menu item. For those of you who have never been to an ornament exchange before, here's how the ornament exchange works: All participants bring a WRAPPED ornament ($5-$10 in value ornament) and be sure to put a tag of who it is from. At the end of the evening everyone who brought an ornament will go home with a new ornament from another guest! YOU DO NOT NEED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ORNAMENT EXCHANGE IN ORDER TO COME TO THE EVENT! BRING CASH FOR A CASH RAFFLE!! In addition to the charity raffles, we will keep tradition and be doing the holiday shopping cash raffle again! Raffle tickets are $5 each and the winner goes home with the ENTIRE POT OF CASH for the holidays! (there is an ATM machine onsite if you forget cash!). These prize pots are typically $500-800!! DON'T FORGET TO PURCHASE YOUR TICKET AHEAD OF TIME! Bring a friend! Feel free to share this event!
