The Art of Being Human is an immersive two-day Authentic Relating (AR) training designed to help you build the foundations of meaningful human connection. Through experiential exercises, guided practice, and real-time interaction, you’ll learn practical skills for relating more authentically with yourself and others. Day 1: Foundations of Authentic Relating You’ll explore the core principles and practices of Authentic Relating, including self-awareness, deep listening, emotional attunement, curiosity, empathy, and honest expression. These foundational skills create the conditions for greater trust, understanding, and connection in every area of life. Day 2: Deepening Practice and Navigating Conflict You’ll learn how to deepen the foundational skills and how to apply them when relationships become more challenging. We will focus on navigating tension, conflict, and difficult conversations with greater confidence, compassion, and authenticity. Rather than avoiding discomfort or escalating conflict, you’ll practice staying present and connected while honoring both yourself and others. This training is highly interactive and experiential.
