Thank you! Gelli Plate Printmaking Led by Janie Reisler In this full-day workshop, attendees will experiment with mixed media printing using a Gelli Plates. You will create unique papers by color blending, working with layers, mark making, substractive methods, layered mask printing, stencils, leaves and natural materials, and more. What is a Gelli Plate? Gelli Plates are reusable printing plates that let you make monoprints without a large, expensive press. They look and feel like gelatin. With quick clean up they allow for many uses and encourage experimentation and layering. This is a fun way to use printmaking! With a short lesson on color theory and blending, students will leave the workshop with dozens of novelty art papers to add to their future art projects or to hang as a unique fine art print! Students must bring their own gelli plate. --------------------------------------------------- WORKSHOP SCHEDULE (subject to change) 11am Workshop Begins 1:00pm Break for Lunch Please bring food or beverage of your choice for the lunch break.
