Join YWCA Lower Cape Fear for remembrance, safety education, advocacy, healing and community action during Week Without Violence. About Week Without Violence YWCA Lower Cape Fear will join YWCAs across the country in observing Week Without Violence October 18–24, 2026, bringing the community together for remembrance, safety education, advocacy and healing. Through digital campaigns, community conversations and wellness activities, the week will raise awareness of gender-based violence and connect participants with resources and support. WHAT A week of virtual and in-person programming focused on preventing violence, supporting survivors and strengthening community well-being.
