TEA 101 & 102 In-person class (Wilmington, DE)

A 3-day intensive class covering TEA 101 & 102. DATES: • Tuesday, October 13 (9:00 am - 5:00 pm) • Wednesday, October 14 (9:00 am - 5:00 pm) • Thursday, October 15 (9:00 am - 5:00 pm) *students will have 1 hour for lunch TEA 101 SCHEDULE: • Tuesday, October 13 (9:00 am - 5:00 pm) • Wednesday, October 14 (9:00 am - 11:00 am) TEA 102 SCHEDULE: • Wednesday, October 14 (11:00am - 5:00 pm) • Thursday, October 15 (9:00 am - 5:00 pm) • If you are only planning on taking 102, you must have already taken TEA 101 LOCATION: Fieldstone Golf Club1000 Dean Road, Wilmington, Delaware (United States) T EA 101: Introduction to Tea This course will provide an introduction on the history of the origin of tea. You will learn how to differentiate the types of tea as well as the tea grading standards used in the industry. T EA 102: Regions of the World Students will examine in detail the principal tea-growing regions of the world. Develop a fundamental understanding of tea – its evolution and its influence on culture and world events. Registration includes: • Digital course material • Meals: lunch, morning & afternoon break Registration deadline: September 29, 2026 COURSE DETAILS: • This is an intensive program where all for TEA 101 & 102 will be covered over 3 days, including tastings, presentations, blind tasting and multiple choice exam. • Students will be sent digital copies of the course books one week before class starts. • If a student fails a portion of the testing, they will not be required to retake the entire course. Rather they will have the opportunity to re-take that portion at a future in-person session.
