CNC 101 Tool Training - Intro

This class will cover setting up the machine, basics of tooling, using Vcarve software to create tool paths from 2D vector files, and the basics of CNC workflow. A basic understanding of 2D vector design is strongly recommended for anyone taking the class. The first class session covers the basic operation of the machine and a software overview. For the second class session the student takes the lead with instructor support on a preset or personal project idea. We typically ask students to select a 102 class within 2 weeks of their 101 class to ensure the information is fresh.
