Silent Film w/Live Piano - Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde (1920) @ Fine Arts Theatre

Experience one of the greatest silent films of legendary actor John Barrymore like it's 1920- with live improvised piano scoring! This Halloween season join us for our second annual spooky silent film with live piano scoring at Maynard Fine Arts Theatre. This 1920 classic starring John Barrymore has it all- opulent Victorian ballrooms, transformation sequences before CGI and AI existed, and science being taken too far! Experience this classic the way it was meant to be enjoyed- in a beautiful theatre with live music. The music of pianist and composer Devereux Geiger can be heard on award winning shorts and feature-length films including the modern silent film The Being Who Fell From the Stars, The Clown Affair, and the animated musical Sirius AI: A Post-Apocalyptic Musical. Devereux has been hired throughout New England to create music for plays and improvise for theaters such as ImprovBoston.
