A trauma-informed, skills-based training for helpers and community providers Community Resiliency Model (CRM): Supporting Helpers, Strengthening Communi The Community Resiliency Model (CRM) provides practical, trauma-informed skills that help individuals better understand and regulate the nervous system in the face of stress, trauma, and adversity. This session is designed especially for helpers, community health workers, social service and behavioral health providers, educators, outreach professionals, and others who serve their communities, including those who work or volunteer within faith-based settings. In recognition of the important role faith communities often play in supporting individuals and families, this training will also explore ways spiritual practices can be incorporated alongside CRM skills to support grounding, hope, connection, and resilience. You do not need to be affiliated with a faith community to participate. This training is open to everyone. Participants will gain practical strategies to: • Support their own well-being while helping others • Recognize and respond to stress and nervous system dysregulation • Help others stabilize during moments of overwhelm • Reduce the effects of secondary and vicarious trauma • Strengthen relational presence and connection • Explore how spiritual practices can complement CRM skills • Promote resilience within individuals, organizations, and communities • Practice spiritual disciplines aligned to the Community Resilience Model CEUs: 3 Social Work/Counseling/DODD Continuing Professional Development Units Who Should Attend? This training may be especially valuable for community health workers, social workers, counselors, case managers, educators, outreach workers, ministry and faith-community volunteers, peer supporters, nonprofit professionals, and other community helpers. All are welcome, regardless of faith affiliation or professional background
