Enjoy the beginning of Fall with an evening of sipping and shopping at the City Market and participating Social District businesses. The City Market with its usual vendors will be open on Washington Street, and other businesses within the Downtown Monroe Social District will be open for business as well. Your purchase helps Monroe County Michigan Events support charitable causes throughout the county, and we appreciate your participation. How are proceeds used? Funds raised help provide donations to local food pantries, support for local shelters, partnership with other agencies to organize food distribution drive-through events, holiday meals for needy families, clothing and toys for underprivileged and impoverished children and families, and Santa's House in Loranger Square to be enjoyed for free to our entire community.
