The talks that will be put forward are a practical bottom-up explanation about the search for enlightenment and how, if our connection to source is revealed, it translates into happiness in our daily living. If our understanding of what we are really looking for with all this seeking can become a little more clear, then the search can become focused. The default for most people is to look for happiness through outcomes and circumstances. Maybe you're someone who's received some of the things you wanted in life, the job promotion, the home you wanted, new cars, nice vacations, maybe even meeting your soulmate, and still felt like something was missing. There's an energetic uncomfortableness in the body that grows over time, and it has to do with our model of life, the current default model for human beings is one that creates suffering through an idea about ourselves and our role in life. Our thinking mind, the monkey mind, is always dragging us into the past with guilt, shame, and blame, or concerns in the future, worried, believing happiness is found in outcomes and pleasurable experiences, believing there's some point where everything lines up and then we'll be happy. But it never happens. That constant running and riffing on the past and future keeps us from being present, and it obscures our connection to source. We are always connected to source, but that connection is obscured by the monkey/thinking mind. There's a veil, and the veil can be lifted.
