Grace @ Work

Pack lunches on Giving Tuesday for human trafficking victims in Detroit Join Pearls of Great Price Coalition for our Grace @ Work event at Monaghan Knights of Columbus (19801 Farmington Road, Livonia MI 48152) on “Giving Tuesday”, December 1st, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. Our desire for the evening is to put our hands to work doing good, and we’re hoping you’re ready to dig in with us! We will be making lunches for those being sex trafficked on the streets of Detroit. Anchored Hope Outreach is a faith-based street outreach ministry working to fight human trafficking by serving the needs of sex trafficked victims. Their “boots on the ground” volunteers work in southwest Detroit neighborhoods, handing out food and hygiene kits, praying, and connecting those in need with resources to heal and restore. Before we pack lunches, they will speak to us about the ministry and how we can stay aware, vigilant, and on guard in our small part of the world. While we encourage you to bring your family to the event, please understand that the discussion may be “PG-13”. The event is FREE. YOUR HELP IS PRICELESS. If you are able, please bring the following items to the event that Anchored Hope Outreach can distribute as needed: · Handwarmers · Women’s Gloves · Women’s hats · Baby wipes · Travel size first aid kits or bandaids For questions, please contact Pearls of Great Price at [email protected]
