ELECTION WATCH TRAINING 2

Congratulations for registering to be a part of Defend Our Democracy's 2026 Election Watch Observer campaign! By joining #TheWatch as a volunteer, you've decided to stand up for your right to vote, for your community, and for your dignity. You will join over 2000+ South Africans who have also put their hand up to stand watch at polling stations on 4 November to observe the voting process, defend democracy, and make sure our elections are free, fair and transparent. This training session will prepare you for the role of observing, providing valuable insights on the voting process, what happens on election day, what to Observe, how to Record, and how to Report. It is mandatory for every observer to be accredited and trained before they can observe on 4th Nov. It is vital that you indicate your attendance for the upcoming training session as soon as possible, so we can confirm your seat, plan catering, and arrange transport support where necessary.
