Behind the Badge brings youth and a former sheriff together for a live Q&A about rights, police encounters, and a game called Crime No Crime Behind The Badge: A Conversation With The Youth Is an interactive youth workshop designed to help youth and young adults ags 17-20 better understand their rights and make informed decisions during real-life encounters with law enforcement. Led by former Sheriff Juan Bowers, the workshop will include open conversations, a live Q&A where youth can ask their questions, and an engaging game called “Crime No Crime?” A game that challenges participants to think through realistic situations while learning what the law actually says.
