A trip to the Adelaide Central Market

Join our volunteer leader for a fun day out exploring Adelaide Central Market! We’ll catch the 178 bus from Campbelltown Council’s Civic Centre in Rostrevor to Victoria Square, then walk to the Central Market. Enjoy time to explore the market, browse the stalls and have lunch together in the food area. Lunch is at your own cost. We’ll then catch the 178 bus from King William Street back to Rostrevor. Participant Requirements To take part, participants must be able to: • Travel on the public bus independently, including boarding and alighting. • Navigate city streets independently, following the direction of our volunteer leader. • Manage their own wellbeing throughout the outing. • Choose and pay for their own lunch. • Make their way to the designated return bus stop on time. Participants must hold a Seniors Card to qualify for free transport or have their own MetroCard and be prepared to pay their bus fare. Departure point: Campbelltown Council Civic Centre, 178 Montacute Road, Rostrevor. Date: Tuesday 17 November 2026 Time: 10:30am–2:30pm (approx.) Important: If you miss the return bus, you will need to make your own way back to the starting location and arrange your own transport. Please ensure you are comfortable managing these arrangements independently before booking. You must also have a mobile phone number available so we can contact you during the trip. Limited places are available. If demand is high, participants may be waitlisted or offered a place on one of the two bus trips provided.
