Bus Trip to Henley Beach

Join our volunteer leader for a lovely day out exploring Henley Beach! We’ll leave Magill Community Centre and walk to Arthur Street to catch the H30 bus to Henley Beach. We’ll enjoy lunch together at the Henley Beach Hotel, with lunch at your own cost. Afterwards, we’ll take a short walk to Henley Square, where you can enjoy an ice cream or a treat from one of the local shops at your own expense. If time permits, we’ll also enjoy a stroll along the jetty before catching the bus back to Magill Community Centre. Participant Requirements To take part, participants must be able to: • Travel on the public bus independently, including boarding and alighting. • Navigate footpaths and local streets independently, following the direction of our volunteer leader. • Manage their own wellbeing throughout the outing. • Choose and pay for their own lunch and any additional purchases. • Make their way to the designated return bus stop on time. Participants must hold a Seniors Card or have their own MetroCard and be prepared to pay their bus fare. Important: If you miss the return bus, you will need to make your own way back to the starting location and arrange your own transport. Please ensure you are comfortable managing these arrangements independently before booking. Departure point: Magill Community Centre, St Bernards Road, Magill. Date: Monday 7 December 2026 Time: 10:30am–2:30pm (approx.) Limited places are available. If demand is high, participants may be waitlisted or offered a place on one of the two bus trips provided.
