Nancy Bates and Dave McEvoy lead an interactive musical performance for children and families. The show features live vocals and piano accompanied by footage of the Takayna forest on large LED screens. Visitors are encouraged to move around and join in the music making.

Come into the forest of Takayna with Barkindji Songwoman Nancy Bates and acclaimed pianist and educator Dave McEvoy. Created especially for children 0 – 6 years but suitable for anyone with a love of music, Nancy (voice) and Dave (piano) will lead a very special interactive performance exploring music in ILA’s Studio, surrounded by footage of the magnificent Takayna forest on 110m2 LED screens. Everyone will be encouraged to move around and join in the music making! This performance is part of the live music series presented alongside the Art For Takayna immersive exhibition, showing until 10 October. Presented by Bob Brown Foundation and Immersive Light and Art.
