Join author Samantha Battams as she uncovers the stories of some of Campbelltown's early pioneering families - the Headings, Lommans and Rumbelows. Through personal histories, photographs and wartime experiences, Samantha brings to life the people behind the names, from the young men who answered the call to serve in the First World War to the women and families who remained at home, carrying on through uncertain times. Featuring the stories of Frank Rumbelow (1895–1917), Alf Heading (1898–1918) and Sir James Heading (1884–1929), this presentation offers a fascinating glimpse into the lives, sacrifices and enduring legacy of families who helped shape the Campbelltown community.
