Pewter casting for beginners

Enclosed footwear and heat-resistant clothing is required. All materials are included. Session 1 - (2 hours) In our first session participants will see a start-to-finish demonstration of carving a basic cuttlefish mould, and casting of an item. Participants will then work on their own cuttlefish mould and with the help of our facilitators cast their own creation. Session 2 - (2 hours) In our second session participants will work on a more advanced multi-piece mould. Built from laser cut MDF, cuttlefish or another heat-proof material, these moulds allow more control or accuracy over the finished item.
