A supportive first aid training opportunity for young people who want to, learn practical skills, & receive extra support while they learn Provide First Aid Training for Young People Living with Disability or Learning Difficulties A supportive first aid training opportunity for young people who want to build confidence, learn practical skills, and receive extra support while they learn. About the Training This training is designed for young people who would like to learn first aid but may require extra support to participate. The session will provide a welcoming and practical learning environment where participants can develop important first aid knowledge and skills. Certification Options · Participants receive a Certificate of Participation. · Participants who successfully meet all course requirements and complete the practical assessment may gain full certification in HLTAID011 Provide First Aid. Who Can Attend? · Young people aged 13 years and older. (13-18yrs) · Young people who want to learn first aid with extra support - Siblings in the age bracket also welcome to participate. · Participants must be willing to complete pre-course online learning . A link will be sent to participants 1 week before practicial and needs to be completed by 5pm Monday 5 October. · Participants must attend the 4-hour practical training session Wednesday 7 October 2026 Date Wednesday 7 October 2026 Practical session 4 hours 9.30am-1:30pm (Online learning/Self Paced 28 September until 5 October 2026) Location Brocas Youth Space, 111 Woodville Road, St Clair Cost $50 plus booking fee / per participant (This course has been subsided by The City of Charles Sturt Young Change Maker Program) Light refreshment provided. Please bring your own packed lunch - (No Nuts products due to allergies) Please wear comfy appropriate clothing for moving around and practising first aid techniques.
