South Australia is experiencing a strong demand for housing with an estimated 315,000 population increase over the next decade. With a skills shortage, and a degree of prejudice towards apartment living, what needs to happen for SA to gain traction with this housing choice? How do we guide design and build quality and how do we buffer the negative media coverage of East Coast projects that have dampened apartment buyers confidence? The Australian Apartment Advocacy and City of Adelaide are inviting representatives from the apartment sector - builders, developers, architects, planners, strata managers, government and apartment owners to come together to strategise about what the next five years look like to ensure that apartments are seen as a preferred housing choice.
