The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime-Stage 2 Drama Graduate Performance

Come and be transported into the life of Christopher Boone, a young fifteen-year-old boy who views the world truthfully, in a way that is very different from the others around him. A tragedy strikes, and Christopher is determined to solve the case-without realizing just how much the answers to his questions will impact him personally. Across four performances, witness the Stage 2 Drama cohort immerse themselves within Christopher's perspective, showcasing how all humanity can see the world differently, but some of us see more than others. Two casts take to the stage in this production, the Turing Cast, named for Alan Turing inventor of 'Thinking Machines', and Gauss, for Carl Freidrich Gauss, eminent mathematician. Both of these notable figures had traits linking them to the neuro-divergent community. Disclaimers: The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime deals with themes of love, loss, betrayal, and some violence. All of this has been rehearsed rigorously in a safe environment. The performance also details the experiences of Christopher, who is neurodivergent. The casting of the production has taken this into account. It is important audiences understand that this portrayal is one example of what this lived experience can feel like and does not reflect that of the wider community or all the individuals who are part of the spectrum. This is the only row where we can provide Wheelchair Spaces. • If you have mobility issues, please utilise seats in Rows A - G (or AA-CC if applicable). Access to these front rows from the aisle does require patrons to use low profile steps. • The upper sections of our Auditorium, Rows H – P, do require patrons to have full mobility due to the number of steps. • Viewing in our Theatre is exceptional from all seats and therefore ticket prices do not vary based on the seat you select. • Marnkutyi Parirna Theatre is an accessible venue. Please park in our main ‘Trinity South School’ carpark. Two (2) Wheelchair/Accessible carparks are located close to the main entrance, with another four (4) Wheelchair/Accessible carparks in this carpark also. • No food in the Theatre. • Prams can be parked in the Foyer of the Theatre only; they cannot be brought into the Auditorium. • We are wheelchair & accessible seating friendly, however have limited seating in Row G only.
