Canberra Community Caffeinated Connections - Nov 2026

Start the day the right way and join us for a casual Canberra Community Caffeinated Connections! Her Tech Circle is coming to Canberra for the very first time, and we couldn’t think of a better way to say hello than over coffee! Join our co-founders and Co-Managing Directors, Renece and Karen (affectionately known as Mama Katz), for a relaxed morning of good conversation, great coffee and a pastry or two, all on us. Whether you’ve been in tech for decades, are just starting out, or are quietly wondering whether tech might be your next chapter, we’d love to meet you, hear your story and share a little of ours. A bit about Her Tech Circle Her Tech Circle is a 100% volunteer-led community supporting women at every stage of their tech careers, from entry to leadership. Women make up just 26% of Australia’s tech workforce, and around half of them leave the industry within three to four years. We think that’s unacceptable, and we’re doing something about it by: • Hosting events, panels and workshops that spark real conversations about career progression • Building a supportive, inclusive community where women feel valued, respected and empowered to thrive • Creating opportunities for connection, mentorship and professional growth • Celebrating the achievements of women in tech, loudly and often Canberra has an incredible tech community, and we’re so excited to be part of it. Come and say hello, bring a friend, and help us start something special in the capital. We can’t wait to see you there!
