Ceilidh dance teaching - Camira - 8th Nov

Get ready to laugh, spin, and smile your way through Sunday afternoons — because The Dancing Thistle Co. is bringing the joy of Scottish country dancing (ceilidh) dancing to Camira, and it’s going to be an absolute blast. These aren’t quiet, serious dance lessons. They’re lively, social, full‑of‑giggles sessions where you’ll learn traditional ceilidh dances step‑by‑step, dance with new friends, and enjoy that wonderful “we’re all in this together” energy that makes ceilidhs unforgettable. Every dance is taught and called, so even total beginners can jump straight in — no rhythm, no experience, no partner required. Just bring yourself and be ready to move. Expect upbeat music, easy patterns, plenty of twirls, and the kind of joyful chaos that makes ceilidh dancing so addictive. You’ll leave each session feeling energised, connected, and grinning from ear to ear. What makes this event special? It’s warm. It’s welcoming. It’s community‑driven. It’s the kind of dancing that makes you forget you’re learning because you’re having too much fun. Whether you come solo or bring a friend, you’ll be swept up in the spirit of ceilidh — laughter, movement, and pure good vibes.
