Christmas Tree Workshop

Christmas Tree Workshop Sunday 18 October | 10 am 2.5 hours | Beginner friendly It’s never too early to get into the Christmas spirit! Join us at Samford Potters Collective for a fun and festive 2.5-hour clay workshop where you’ll create your very own large handmade ceramic Christmas tree — perfect for your Christmas table, decorating your home or giving as a beautiful handmade gift. And because Christmas crafting is better with bubbles, you’ll enjoy a complimentary glass of bubbles on arrival! We’ll guide you through the process of building your tree, then it’s over to you to make it uniquely yours. Use underglazes to add colour, patterns and decorations and create a tree that suits your Christmas style. Once your masterpiece is finished, we’ll take care of the final steps. Your tree will be bisque-fired, then clear-glazed and fired again, giving it a beautiful finish and ensuring it’s made to last for years to come. Your workshop includes: • 2.5-hour guided clay workshop • All clay and materials • Expert instruction and guidance • Underglazes for decorating your tree • Two firings — bisque + clear glaze • Clear glaze finish to make your tree sparkle • Your finished ceramic Christmas tree to take home • A complimentary glass of bubbles on arrival No pottery experience necessary! Whether you’re a complete beginner or already have a little clay experience, we’ll have you creating something you’ll be proud to put on display. Come along with your favourite people and make a morning of it, or come solo — you’ll be welcomed, looked after and guaranteed a fun time. Spots are limited, so don’t wait too long to book! Get creative, get festive and make something special for Christmas that you’ll bring out year after year. NOTE: Above trees are inspiration only! Create your own custom tree - we show you how and you take it from there.
