Cottage Gardening with special guest Carol Kerkin

Get started in the garden with this introductory session covering the basics of cottage gardening. You're invited to a complimentary informative workshop with special guest Carol Kerkin. We are thrilled to welcome Carol who began the transformation of her hillside garden from an abandoned banana plantation to a private paradise almost 30 years ago at Kingsholme, an hour south of Brisbane. She will be comparing the traditional cottage garden with todays more ornamental one. Carol will be looking at plants that were originally grown for useful purposes which we still grow today and the way that plants are arranged together to create a cottage garden that thrives in south east Queensland. Date: Tuesday 13th October Time: 10am to 11.30am Please bring a hat, this will be held outdoors.
